Season 1: WoW Forever starts on 5 November at 01:00 (German time). Until then a test run is going on whose points do not count. Only anonymous PLG codes are shown, no names.

| Rank | PLG code | Faction | Points | New | Gap | Confirmed | Vendors |
|---|
How points are awarded
| Category | Points | When? |
|---|---|---|
| New skill point | +1 per point | You are the first in this season to report a route on your server type. Example: Tailoring 60 to 75, not yet reported by anyone = 15 points. |
| Skill point in a gap | +3 instead of +1 per point | Skill ranges for which there was no route at all before the season started, not even from the beta. Example: Blacksmithing 91 to 93 as the first = 9 points. |
| Route confirmed | +2 per recipe | You level with the same recipe as another player. Counted once per recipe and profession. The player who reported the route first does not get the +2 for it. |
| New recipe vendor | +10 | A vendor with recipes that PLG does not know yet. Only the first valid reporter. Deployable storage devices and bots do not count. |
What does not count: banned codes, unofficial or too new PLG versions, impossible routes (skill below 1 or above 350, more than 120 points in a row, beyond the grey level of the recipe) and codes that the network only knows through forwarding.
Normal, PvP and Hardcore each have their own ranking, each as a weekly ranking (reset every Sunday, 8 weeks stored) and as an overall ranking of the season. Points are not calculated live but when a new snapshot is published in the PLG Viewer.
How to take part
- Use the addon Profession Leveling Guide in the current version (2.6.6) and level your professions normally in game.
- Type
/plg netz codein game. It shows your anonymous PLG code under which you appear in the ranking. There are no names and no upload on this site. - Points are calculated when a new snapshot is published in the PLG Viewer. After that your code appears here in the ranking.
Voluntary and anonymous. You decide: with
/plg netz aus you switch off participation in the network in game, and no data from you is shared. Only network data is evaluated, never character names or bag and bank contents. Only the 6-character PLG code, the faction and the points are shown.Community forum
